I was born in Toronto Ontario but my family moved to Georgetown when I was seven years old. I attended school here and am still in touch with many of my childhood and young adult friends from school and recreational programs.
I left Georgetown at age 18 when I purchased my first home in Streetsville Ontario and then upgraded homes and resided in Brampton for five years.
I returned to Georgetown to raise my children as we felt the small town atmosphere was the best choice for our children. We wanted to offer our children the same wonderful “Georgetown” experience as we enjoyed.
My first career was in manufacturing where I was a production control scheduler for a company that manufactures ship-borne helicopter handling systems, cable handling systems, specialized structures and other sophisticated systems for the U.S and international navies.
After the birth of my second child, I decided that my real calling was to stay home and dedicate my life to being a full time mother. Well, it’s a huge decision to cut your family’s income in half! I took on a part time job at a once existent “Beaver Lumber” store to help pay the bills. I enjoyed working with the public. When my youngest started school, I started a full time position with the store in a dual roll managing the inventory and selling and designing kitchens. I was trained in the 2020 software (CAD program) used to design the kitchens. It was a real joy working in design and sales with the public. When the company closed I was welcomed back to by my previous employer (9 years earlier) in the production control department. But I had really grown and I had come to enjoy sales and working with the public so I decided to obtain my real estate license and I haven’t looked back since.
I have been selling residential real estate since 2000 in the Halton, Peel and Wellington regions. I have been honoured with sales award in the "Performance Group" category in 2014 and life-time achievement award in the "President's Circle" category with Johnson Real Estate Ltd Brokerage. In 2013 I was the highest producing “individual agent” (not a team) in the company. Johnson Associates merged with RLP Meadowtowne Realty in September of 2014.
I can honestly say I have found my passion. It is a true privilege to be chosen to represent a buyer or seller and I always put 100% effort into doing the best job I can for those I represent. I never forget that it is an “honour”. I offer my clients respect, professionalism, confidentiality and friendship.
